Today Costa is the largest and fastest growing coffee shop chain in the UK. In 1999 Costa opened the first international store at the Aviation Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Years later, the Costa brand has continued to grow with more than 150 stores operating in the UAE. So while a lot has changed since tasting the first cup, our coffee certainly hasn't. We still roast our beans in exactly the same way, as Sergio did on that important morning 50 years ago. Coffee lovers have always loved it and we will continue to do so.
